Daily Photo

My project – to upload one good photograph a day! Maybe this will improve my photography.

I used Olympus equipment – E-3 and E-30 bodies, 8mm fisheye, 12-60mm zoom, 70-300mm zoom and Sigma 30mm/f1.4 lenses – for many years. In early 2010 I made the switch to Canon, in order to get the benefits of a full-frame sensor (more control over depth of field, better low-light performance). If I’m not carrying a DSLR, I have a Panasonic Lumix LX-5 or a Ricoh CX2 in my pocket, just in case.

I’ve recently added a fotomoto toolbar to the site. This enables the “buy print” and “send as e-card” buttons that appear below each photograph. It doesn’t yet work with the panoramic images.
